Sugar scrub!

Those expensive #sugarscrubs you see in department stores and spas… they cost #pennies to make! Sugar scrubs are a simple beauty recipe with limitless variations, and they can be incredibly #nourishing and #exfoliating to the skin.
Here is one of my favorites!

Use 2 parts sugar (regular white or brown sugar work great) to 1 part oil (almond, olive and coconuts are great), add 1/2 tsp Vitamin E oil (or the gel from a few capsules), add other optional ingredients, and mix well.
Sound simple? It is!

  1. Hi Arlene,

Thank you for the recipe! I will make it this week. I buy the store ones but have been trying to stay away from all of the unwanted ingredients they use, even the ones from the health stores do! So this one looks great with Vitamin E added! Afterwards cocoa butter keeps the face looking really young! I use Palmers :) Thanks again!

  2. This is a great recipe! I have skin allergies so I am normally unable to use any kind of product like this that you can but in stores because of the chemicals. This will be awesome to make because I know I won't break out after using it!

  3. After this long winter my skin has been so dry. I tried your sugar scrub recipe. It was amazing! My skin feels so soft and revitalized. Thanks for sharing this, I think I will use this often.
